Our Story

OUR STORY

Posidolia was built on a simple belief: that every organization has a story worth telling well — and that the right creative partnership can make that story impossible to ignore.

Founded by April Lewis and registered as a Georgia LLC in 2022, Posidolia grew out of over 15 years of professional creative practice spanning video production, brand identity, graphic design, and corporate communications. What began as Dream State Videos — documenting community events and civic life across metro Atlanta — evolved into a full-service brand identity and communications studio serving corporations, government entities, and institutions across the region.


The name Posidolia blends "possibility" and "pareidolia" — the ability to see meaningful patterns where others see randomness. It is our operating philosophy: to look at an organization and see not just what it is, but what it could become when its identity is expressed with clarity, intention, and creative precision. Every engagement begins there — with the discipline to find the pattern, and the skill to make it visible.


April holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and is a federal trademark registrant (Posidolia®). She has designed within institutional brand standards for the UGA Small Business Development Center and Atlanta Housing, and produced corporate communications work recognized at the CEO level by one of the world's largest restaurant supply chain companies. As a principal-led firm, Posidolia ensures that senior creative leadership stays directly engaged at every phase of every engagement — from the first strategy session to the final file delivery.

OUR VISION

Every institution, every corporation, every government entity has an identity — a character shaped by its people, its history, and its purpose. Most of the time, that identity is underexpressed. It lives in the people who work there, in the culture of the place, in the values that guide decisions — but it doesn't always show up clearly in the brand, the communications, or the materials the organization puts into the world.
 

That gap is where Posidolia works — seeing the possibility in what's already there, and building the systems to express it.
 

We build identity systems that give organizations the visual language and strategic framework to show up with consistency and confidence. We produce the internal communications that translate organizational culture into content people actually connect with. And we design the materials that make every touchpoint — from a City Council presentation to an employee Year in Review — feel like it came from the same intentional place.
The goal is not just a brand that looks good. The goal is a brand an organization can own, steward, and build from for years to come — without ongoing dependence on outside support.
